FAQ – Interesting facts & frequently asked questions
Can I study without a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification?
Yes, with us you only need a secondary school leaving certificate for all programs (e.g. Realschule). Your professional experience/ vocational education is decisive for admission to the Bachelor’s degree .
Is there a Numerus Clausus (NC)?
No, we don’t have an NC for any of the programs, not even for the Master’s (the grade of the Bachelor is not a criterion).
Are there entrance tests or other special features?
No, we do not conduct entrance tests.
I gained my training / professional experience abroad. Can I use it to study here?
If your certificates are comparable with those of a (e.g. a German dual) apprenticeship or a similar training, this is possible without any problems. If in doubt, we will carefully examine your evidence and make the best possible decision.
Do I need an employer or a training company?
No! The courses are designed to so that you can work besides studying, but whether and how much you work on the side is up to you. However, you should at least complete an experiential learning phase in a company. However, individual learning paths can be arranged.
Until when can I apply?
In principle, you can apply for all the courses until 4 weeks before the planned semester start. Our recommendation: apply as early as possible. In this way you will find out in good time whether your desired program starts at your desired location and we can provide you with your timetable and organizational information.
Why does the Fast Track-programme only take one year?
In many European countries, including Malta, the crediting of professional achievements and prior learning towards a degree and thus a shortening of the study period to up to one year is standard. Since this study model is still uncommon for example in Germany, we also offer these programs in Germany. You will receive an internationally recognized academic degree from the Triagon Academy Malta, which you can use without restrictions in, for example, Germany, Austria or other countries.
How big are the student groups?
You can expect at least 12 and a maximum of 30 participants in your study cohort.

It goes without saying that it is possible to spend a semester abroad or an internship abroad as part of a degree program. We would be happy to help you find a suitable internship and organize your stay abroad.
What forms of learning and teaching are there in the blended learning concept?
The forms of learning are different and varied. In the face-to-face seminars, specialist lectures (lectures / seminars), presentations, workshops, case studies and group work take place. The language of instruction in Malta is English. In different countries we might offer the program in the country specific language. Virtual classrooms and webinars are used to impart knowledge and to exchange ideas with fellow students and lecturers. Further meetings and supervision can be arranged individually. On the learning platform you will find accompanying materials, e.g. scripts, specialist literature, company examples, exercises.
Which examinations are required?
As a rule, the focus is on practical work (project, case study, etc.) with a written elaboration. Typical examinations are presentations, documentations (e.g. learning portfolio), reports, term papers and the thesis. Since you might work on the side, we make sure that you can establish a reference to your professional practice and that the required page numbers are realizable.
