Arrival by S-Bahn
You can easily get to the education center with the S8 from Ostbahnhof or Munich Airport.
Arriving by bus
The academy is located not far from a bus station and is very well reachable by the bus.
Arriving by car
When arriving by car, the limited parking facilities in front of the campus area must be observed. Our tip: Park in the underground car park of the nearby indoor pool (Erich-Zeitler-Straße 6), directly at the S-Bahn parking lot stop Ismaning or free of charge at the Osterfeldhalle(Oskar-Messter-Straße).

About the municipality of Ismaning

Ismaning is a municipality with 17,000 inhabitants in the eastern district of Munich.

Together with Unterföhring, Ismaning is one of the most important media locations in Germany. Well-known media producers such as Antenne Bayern, Constantin Medien AG, Sport1, HSE24, Plaza Media and Funke Zeitschriften have their headquarters in Ismaning.

From a geographical point of view, Ismaning is an important link for commuters and travelers, because the village is located between the Ostbahnhof and the Franz Joseph Strauß Airport (MUC).

In addition, Ismaning is located on the right bank of the Isar. To the southeast is the extensive Ismaninger Reservoir, where numerous wild birds can be seen. Due to the immediate proximity to green natural areas in combination with the economic power of the municipality, Ismaning is appreciated by the locals for its high quality of life.

Within a radius of about 10 kilometers, impressive sights of the state capital Munich can be admired. These include, forexample, the Allianz Arena, the Olympic Park Munich or the English Garden.
Together with the University of Applied Management, the Triagon Academy is the second educational institution headquartered in Ismaning to offer academic degrees.

Isar
From Ismaning you can hike directly down the river Isar to the English Garden. One can also visit the area by a mountain bike. The Isar floodplain in Ismaning is a magnificent, untouched natural area on Munich’s most famous waters. Here you can escape the stress of everyday life and indulge in the soothing sound of water splashing from the river.
Feringasee
Lake Feringa is about 10 kilometers from Ismaning and is a popular meeting place for swimming and sunbathing, especially in summer. Up to 30,000 guests per day come to the excavator lake. The lake has an area of 32 hectares and a depth of about 7 meters. It also has an idyllic peninsula.
Reservoir
The Ismaninger Speichersee is a reservoir on the northern shore of the Middle Isar Canal and lies between Ismaning and Neufinsing. The reservoir is used, among other things, for water regulation and post-clarification. Furthermore, the area has been declared a bird sanctuary with its approximately 80 fish ponds is a hot spot for anglers.
European Southern Observatory
In Garching near Ismaning lies the European Southern Observatory. The organization is considered a leader in the field of astronomical research in Europe. Visitors can wonder at space exhibitions and the planetarium here.
English Garden
The English Garden is one of the largest parks in the world and offers you relaxing hours in nature and many opportunities for sports. The area is crossed by the river Isar.
Allianz Arena
You can enjoy top-class football at FC Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena. The illuminated inflatable boat is hypermodern and unique in the world.
Olympic Park Munich
As a future World Heritage Site, the former venue of the Olympic Games (1972) impresses with its architectural brilliance and a great view over the city.
Marienplatz
The Marienplatz is located in the direct center of the city and includes a large shopping mall, with the Frauenkirche , a real landmark and a pompous town hall with a beautiful carillon.

„Ismaning is easy to reach by S-Bahn, the campus is only a few meters away on foot. The seminar rooms are bright and friendly, very well maintained and equipped with free Wi-Fi and projectors. Apart from that, the campus has an excellent canteen that is well above average. At the face-to-face seminars, there was always a pleasant learning atmosphere – not least because of the small cohorts.
